The Liberation Room

A free online community for people doing the work of reconstruction — individually, professionally, and collectively. Whether you have completed the course or are arriving from a completely different door, the Liberation Room is where the analysis becomes practice and the practice becomes community.

the Liberation Room is for…

  • Course Graduates Seeking Community: You have completed The Architecture of Harm. You have an action plan and a sphere map and a set of analytical frameworks. You need a community that is doing the same analysis and will hold you accountable to the work over the long arc.

  • Individuals Deconstructing from Oppressive Systems: You are working to understand the systems you were raised inside — the religious institutions, the professional cultures, the family structures, the ideological frameworks — and to build something different. The Liberation Room holds space for that work.

  • People Navigating Oppression and Seeking Solidarity: You are living inside the systems this course examines and you need a place to name what you are experiencing, be believed, and be in community with others who understand. You do not need a course to belong here, you need to show up.

Members who are able to contribute financially can join the mutual aid network — supporting the community's sustainability and enabling broader access. Contribution is voluntary and never a condition of belonging.

The Liberation Room is free because access to community should not depend on financial resources. The mutual aid network is how members who are able to contribute support the community's sustainability — ensuring that the gatherings, the facilitation, and the platform remain available to everyone. Mutual aid is not charity. It is solidarity.

The Liberation Room is a space we protect carefully. Before joining, we ask you to complete a short form answering a few questions — not as a barrier, but as a way of making sure this remains a safe, trusted space for the people already doing this work together.

    The Liberation Room is not a support group, a lecture series, or a networking event. It is a community organized around a shared commitment to seeing systems clearly, naming them precisely, and building something different.

  • No. The Liberation Room has three entry points and the course is only one of them. You are welcome if you have completed The Architecture of Harm and want community to sustain the work. You are welcome if you are deconstructing from oppressive systems and need a space that holds that seriously. And you are welcome if you are navigating oppression in your own life and need a place to name what you are experiencing and be in community with people who understand.

    No prerequisites. No application. No screening. Come as you are.

  • The Liberation Room is free to join and participate in — fully, without limitation. The mutual aid membership is a voluntary option for members who are able and willing to contribute financially to the community's sustainability.

    Mutual aid contributions support platform costs, facilitation, course access scholarships, and emergency support for community members in need. Members who contribute receive no special access and no benefits that non-contributing members do not have. The community is equal regardless of financial contribution. Mutual aid is solidarity, not a fee.
